Continuing Care Assistant (CCA)
Location: Dominion, NS, Job Type: Part-Time
The Continuing Care Assistant (CCA) functions as an accountable member of the interdisciplinary health care team under the supervision of the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). The CCA provides resident-focused, safe, compassionate, and ethical care that promotes the physical, emotional, social, and overall well-being of residents while respecting their individual needs, dignity, and independence. Working collaboratively with residents, families, and the care team, the CCA is responsible for delivering quality care in accordance with Carefield Manor policies, procedures, and established standards of practice, while maintaining confidentiality and a safe, supportive environment.
